Breaking Barriers
Health4Men’s Ukwazana programme held a sports day with a difference in Khayelitsha last Saturday.
In an effort to eradicate stigma and discrimination against homosexuals, Health4Men hosted sports matches where gay, straight and bisexual people teamed up to play netball, soccer and volleyball.

The Ukwazana project not only educates people on homosexuality and general sexual health care through sporting events but also targets other sites such as shebeens and taverns.
Health4Men is run by the Anova Health Institute. The organisation provides sexual healthcare services specifically tailored for men who have sex with men (MSM).
