Support groups for gay and bi men living with HIV

A new support group for gay and bi men who live with HIV is available in Johannesburg. Dr Greg Johnson will lead this group. Meet others and share experiences in a relaxed environment, every 1st and 3rd Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm. The address is Akeso Clinic, 6 Junction Avenue, Parktown. Please diarise these dates for the upcoming support group dates:

  • 10 & 24 April
  • 15 & 29 May 
  • 5 & 19 June
  • 3 & 17 July 

Then as a reminder that there is a professionally facilitated group in Cape Town also available. This group meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 6:00 pm at the Health4Men Greenpoint office, Cape Town. The address is 24 Napier Street, De Waterkant, Greenpoint.  

Then there is a Saturday group for guys who screened positive during the preceding six months or those who have not attended any support groups in the past. This group meets on two Saturday afternoons at 3:00 pm each month at Greenpoint office, CapeTown. Confidentiality is addressed at every meeting !!
