Be part of an exciting organisation for a 12-month contract to promote appropriate knowledge and information on healthcare for gay men and other men who have sex with men (MSM) within private practice. The successful applicant will be responsible for detailing to private sector health professionals and assisting with research.

REQUIREMENTS:
* A degree in pharmacy/nursing/medical technology or related health discipline with strong sales experience
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively with family physicians, specialists, pharmacists, nurses
* Experience and knowledge of issues affecting key populations for HIV infection, particularly MSM health will be an advantage
* Strong interpersonal skills including service orientation
* At least 2-3 years’ experience in medical/pharmaceutical field
* Previous detailing experience of pharmaceutical products will an added advantage
* Valid driver’s licence
* Knowledge of private practitioners, and private hospital/clinic environment
* Ability to communicate effectively
* Ability to travel locally in the Greater Johannesburg area including Soweto, Alexandra, inner city, the northern and southern suburbs
* Ability to communicate technical knowledge of the company as well as health issues of MSM
* Professional, energetic and goal driven
