Who are we?

Health4Men is an innovative project addressing men’s diverse sexual health needs through free medical and psychosocial services specifically designed for men. In particular, our services are aimed at vulnerable and marginalised groupings of men, including MSM (men who have sex with men, irrespective of whether they are gay or not), youth, commercial sex workers and men from disadvantaged communities.

We celebrate male sexuality while promoting responsible sexual behaviour through clinical services, counselling, education and training, prevention campaigns, and distribution of free condoms, lubricant and media. Our services are research-based.

Health4Men was founded in 2008 in partnership with the Western Cape Department of Health and continues to evolve and expand as a centre of expertise regarding men’s sexual health, under the leadership of the Anova Health Institute.
