The story has attracted a considerable amount of negative comment, even though it was only jettisoned into cyberspace 45 minutes ago.
November is Red Ribbon Month. The Health4Men outreach team in Cape Town will be hosting three events in the lead up to World Aids Day on 1 December 2012.
• 20 November: Khayelitsha Site-C Taxi Rank from 10:00-15:00
• 21 November: Khayelitsha Mall time: 10:00-15:00
• 23 November: Makhaza basketball court opposite Chris Hani High School from 10:00-15:00
Planned activities include HCT (HIV screening and counselling) to encourage men to know their status and also to promote responsible sex. There will also be an exhibition stall where the outreach team will be distributing red condoms, red ribbons, red Ukwazana bags, T-shirts and other IEC material .
The stakeholders that will be partnering with Health4Men is City Health and MSAT Khayelitsha (Multi-Sectorial Action Team).
