Health4Men does training in Uganda

We are all familiar with Uganda's atrocious stance towards homosexuality, with repeated calls by that government to extend the death sentence to men who have sex with men. Health4Men was invited to train a group of healthcare workers, including doctors and nurses, to provide competent services for such men.

A Health4Men team spent three days in Kampala during May.
Psychosexual training was undertaken by Glenn de Swardt, with infectious diseases specialist Dr Kevin Rebe providing medical training. This marks the beginning of an on-going collaboration between Health4Men and medical personnel in Kampala, with Ugandan doctors expected to spend time being mentored at Health4Men's clinics in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Soweto.
